She is very friendly and loves being out of the cage. Unlike most birds, she isn't partial to any one member of the family. She does NOT like being alone. If walk into another room she instantly goes nuts.
She was a little nippy when she was younger, but she's pretty much gotten over it. She bickers and makes noises at the weirdest stuff: plastic bags, crinkling paper, spray bottles, etc.
She isn't as loud as, say, a macaw or other larger bird but if you are like me and not used to birds, she can be loud! Parrotlets lack the ability to scream, but they still can be kind of loud IMO. I guess it's all relative. She is the loudest when you leave her.
Overall, she is great! I'd love a second one. They come in green, yellow, and blue. I think the blues are beautiful as well.
