Well when my pit mix was a puppy she was VERY sickly. She was only a little over a pound when I brought her home from the shelter. I was soo scared to leave her in the pen at night, that I had her sleep right next to my face so I would know if she had trouble breathing. My roommate were always scared I was going to roll over and squash her, but instintively I knew she was there and would wake up if she moved.
The plans were to have her sleep in her bed later on... but 4 yrs later and she still sleeps with me. So when Slade came I trained him to sleep in his crate. I tried to let him sleep in the bed a few nights, but all he and Laney would do was play, so he sleeps in his crate. |
