Ok, as some of you may know, I have been looking for nearly 2 years for my yorkie. In the beginning of my search, I was nearly taken by a Nigerian scammer. I was naive and fell in love with the picture I was sent.

Me and David Dudu (lol, yes...Dudu!) emailed back and forth for a week. You see, Mr Dudu was in place called Cameroon doing missionary work. He, oh so kindly, offered me his beloved dog for only the price of shipping. Oh.My.God. I fell in lalalalove! I showed the picture to everyone I knew. Only person warned me it was a scam, (lol) and I didnt believe her because I thought she was jealous.

Anyways, a week into it, I realized that something wasnt quite right.... I called him out and he disappeared. My heart broke. I was so in love with the most beautiful little puppy, that I would never get.

I kid you not, when I tell you it took me months to get over my heartbreak. Then...............I got mad.

One day, while wasting some time on craigslist, I read an ad about a funny website. Here it is, http://www.scambuster419.co.uk/

This man has taken on a whole new persona, and he pretends to be interested in whatever scam the scammer is offering. I have spent a lot of time reading the scams on this site and have often laughed myself to tears.

One day, I gave it a try. I baited a scammer and spent 3 weeks going back and forth with him. I have an email address with a fake name and I lure scammers. My rationale is that whatever time they spend with me is one less real person that will be scammed. Sadly, I am a drop in the bucket. One time I actually got a scammer to "chat" with me, the real me. He told me that scammers have warehouses/offices set up and have employees. Sometimes dozens, sometimes hundreds of people work for one (or a small group) of people.

It's sick and it is a HUGE business. If you have some time to waste, scam some scammers. I have read the website and have learned from the best.

That;s the same scam I was almost lured into over the holidays, thank god I had already heard of the Nigerian scammers from another forum I am on. Missionary work my butt...I hardly think scamming people out of money will be saving any souls any day soon. Did your guy tell you they could ship the dog overnight to you from Africa mine did..that made me roll with laughter.
