You probably already know this, but the yellow flem is bile due to not eating. It
could have been a mild stomach upset and now all we need to do is to re-stimulate his eating. You might try a jar of baby food.
BTW - our girls get upset on the weekends because we have to leave them for a few hours. They started throwing up small amounts of bile. We now feed them a small portion of breakfast. A little boiled chicken and they don't throw up anymore.
