Sounds like you are doing well! I've got two cats, both adopted as kittens from a shelter. One of them was too young to be in the shelter but they had no choice and took her, and amazingly I showed up like 30 minutes after she arrived...so I took her! She picked me too, because her claws stuck in my shirt and she would'nt let go. Anyhow she was very young, maybe just a few weeks and weighed less than a pound...didn't hardly register on the vets scale. Anyhow, we did the same ... made one room "hers" that we could close the door and had comfortable blankets, food, water and we got a tiny disposable aluminum baking pan to be her litterbox. Oh, toys, we put toys in there. And I'd go visit her all the time in there. And during the day we'd let her roam if she wanted to. We had another kitty that was maybe 2 mos old, and it took a while for her to get used to this new little one, but in no time they became pals. Anyhow, the tiny one eventually got braver & braver and bigger & bigger and would come out and roam the house. So,...you're doing good. Just play with her alot.

She's so cute... she'll try to rub against our legs, but she's not very coordinated and will kinda trip a little lol
