Hey friends, I'm having a minor issue with Widdles. I'm not sure what to do. He's always been a bit frightened of eating with the other dogs, although that has improved tremendously. I'm sure it's from his previous kennel existance where he didn't get to eat freely. Anyway, when I give him a treat, as I do all of them when they come when called, he always lunges for it and sometimes ends up pinching me with an eye tooth. It's not on purpose, and he's never, ever aggressive. I could tie him in knots and he wouldn't even growl. But he's so eager to get his yummy that he lunges and grabs it hard. How can I help him be more gentle?
