 question re spaying
My little rescue Chihuahua, Kozanna, will be 10 months old on the 14th. She weighs about 4 pounds. I think I should have her spayed very soon, but hesitate because she is so very afraid of everyone and everything. It will be a very traumatic experience for her. She responds to me and cuddles with me, but she really doesn't know me that well yet and I don't know if I could offer her much comfort. I have no way of knowing if she has ever had a season or not, but presume she has not. Can my vet tell if she has ever had a season? Hmmm, I'll ask her. I think maybe I should go ahead and get it done and get it over with, but would like to be able to comfort her more than I think I could now. Any thoughts? |
