I can understand what you are going through. I am in the military too. I have only been deployed a few times, but not for 15 months. I went to Turkey for 3 1/2 months right after the 9/11 then again the next year for another month and then was also gone to Hurricane Katrina for another month-5weeks. Where I have been is nothing like going to Iraq. The first time I went to Turkey me and my husband were not married yet, but had only lived together for 6 months before I had to leave. I was a basket case when I got the dreaded phone call that night at home. I will never forget it. I only had a few days after getting the phone call before I had to leave. It is a very emotional time and seems like you are never really ready to go. Spend as much time together as you can. I will be thinking about you.
