There has been another thread posted regarding tooth loss in our Yorkies...It seems to have many of us puzzle'd and taking extra effort to care for our Yorkie(s) teeth.

Regarding your Yorkie, you mentioned that you took her to the vet over a year ago and had confirmed that her teeth were fine. I am as you "learning" all there is to be known about Yorkies and their teeth, but I am thinking that as humans our teeth can change drastically within a year; cavities (yet I have read that dogs don't get cavities) plague, tarter, bone loss, gum residing, etc. With this said maybe another vet check up can confirm the condition of your Yorkie's teeth and your options.

Please let us know what your vet says, as again, we are all learning as much as we can regarding our Yorkie (s) teeth.

I have heard that it is very common in toy breeds to have tooth loss. (just wanted to throw that tid bit in there)
