OK sorry this is so long.
My brother's best friend got a cairn terrier puppy the other day. I went over to see him and they asked if I'd help with training and I said yes. I asked them where they got him and they said Shake A Paw.
I didn't say that their dog was from a puppy mill, yet. Their grandpa just died and i really didn't want to make them more upset.
they know what happened to bandit, and i'm worried that they'll freak out and think the same thing is going to happen to Henry, the dog. I will tell them, probably today. I am very worried that what happened to bandit will happen to their's. I don't know if cairn terriers are supposed to have a wiry coat, but this one did.
I was also watching him and he didn't really play. He just kind of laid down, wasn't hyper or anything. He was baiscally the same way bandit was. I did tell them about puppy mills and they thought it was terrible. I also told them about millbusters.com. I gave them a harrness we had for tucker that was too big and it fit henry perfectly.
(they had a collar on that was waaay too big) I'm going to tell them to take him for blood work right away. Sorry this is so long, I'm just really worried.
