I didn't have a problem with her petting her. When she asked to hold her I even smiled and very nicely told her I don't like for other people to hold her because I worry too much - I laughed as I said this because I didn't want her to think I was being snotty. I told her she was more than welcome to pet her though. That's when she asked about taking her to show her husband and I just said, "No." I was a little shocked that she asked so this came out as just a flat "No." That's when she came back with her nice words for me and the Poopanut.
