That said, and purely for the sake of accuracy, I did the same search and what you actually saw was one site after another all talking about the same lawsuit. I might be wrong but there is a female attorney in Florida who represented 6 customers in a class action suit against WOC in 2003. It got a lot of press at that time and they conducted a protest that was also covered by the media so there was a lot of talk about it on a lot of forums and other websites which now show up when the search is done. I will contact her office in the morning and inquire as to the status of the case and I will also ask about any other lawsuits agaisnt them as well as any arrests for animal cruelty and I will post my findings. |
LOL...I have to say is THIS REALLY important Kim ? - I do realize you've been only a short time on yorkie/dog forums...but there are MANY people that I've seen in the last 2 years who dealt personally with these people -
IF it were YOU that purchased a yorkie from them - and you had your heart broken you would feel VERY differently...I go with what I've seen and READ...and when the evidence is right there - WHY keep going on about it ?
The word doesn't get out on GOOD Breeders unless there's good reason. Jeff Dane & WOC are both in the BAD catagory...You can try to find something in there to defend but WHY BOTHER ?
There are too many reasons that these things are said - Articles in newspapers - Complaints with the BBB - Lawsuits ets....and your AVERAGE yorkie/dog lover
crying on a forum because they got ripped off or their dog is ill....
Why bother looking for that ONE thing just for the sake of debate ? In her case - the facts are all there. I can vouch for the posts I've seen that you won't see on the net - there are MANY More people who had BAD experiences out there than you'll ever see doing 'research". Is there a reason you want to 'debate' over this ?
