Our Golden Retreiver, Maggie, is a very sweet dog and she loves other dogs. My next door neighbor has a Malti-poo and other neighbor has a Yorkie. She loves to play with them and they love her. The Yorkie actually dug under their fence to get into our fenced in yard to play with Maggie
The Golden sleeps in the house at night in her kennel. Sometimes, She comes in during the day to hang out with me and at night before she goes to kennel. But she loves to be outside running in the yard (fenced of course). So she is outside most of the time. Eventhough, I know she will like another dog I would be very cautious just because of the size difference.
