Oh yes, I remember seeing that thread. Things kinda do get out of hand every now and then. With all of the different opinions and passions of people on this site, I can see a debate section getting VERY ugly. I just wish that if we were to argue, we could do it tactfully and respectfully. I've seen other sites with debate sections that were ran wonderfully. However, I know that they must have one moderator that strictly watches that thread to make sure that everyone behaves themselves.
