- also, my vet recommends something to chew on - it helps them to keep their teeth clean. Roxy loves to chew - her teeth are great. Bubba could care less about chewing on anything for the most part - so his teeth are a problem. I finally broke down and bought bully sticks. Bubba has finally chewed on them a bit, especially if Roxy gets them all soft first
I've heard good things about flossies - so might try those next.
My vet recommends using petzlife and chews before putting them under for teeth cleaning. Vets make very good money doing this. So try some other things first & see if there is a difference
Genetics can play a part in their teeth. I would avoid hills anything
