The penis must be returned to its normal position inside the sheath as quickly as possible to prevent any further swelling...You can lubricate the shaft with K-Y Jelly...Push the prepuce back on the shaft of the penis while rolling it out to release any hair that may be trapped...Then with your hand gently slide the prepuce forward over the head of the penis...It is always best to shave the hair on their underbelly before breeding...If you can not get the penis back into the prepuce then you should call your vet to prevent any permanent damage...IT is almost always caused by trapped hair!..Good Luck!
