When you read some contracts that state the buyer has a 3 day guarantee and then it is your tough luck, only protects the breeders pocketbook, not the buyer...any ethical, caring breeder who found out a puppy had a shunt or genetic problem would want to make it right, EVEN after 3 days. am I not right? |
I also think, money-wise, it is not fair to the buyer. You certainly didn't plan on something like this. Life long ongoing monthly vet bills (that is the position I am now in). Also, I wonder if you did return the puppy, what is the breeder going to do with it. Then she would be "stuck" with the vet bills.
