My Mini Schnauzer constantly chewed her paws. They actually turned a "rust" color from all the chewing. My vet recommended fast actin' Tinactin for Athletes foot. The human kind. It WORKED. I guess she had a fungus? I just sprayed it on her paws twice a day. She didn't like it, and licked them after, but I guess enough got on them to help. It did not seem to hurt her to lick it off.
