You're lucky he wakes you up to take him out! I'm on my third carpet shampooer.
The vet said that Benadryl was a good option for him, but I don't think it's working as well anymore. I need to take His Highness to the vet for a dental cleaning, maybe while he's under anesthetic they can whisper, "Licking is icky" in his ear a few times!
