Uncomfortable is normal. I would call your vet in the morning if you are concerned or an er vet if you are worried now. Usually it is normal. I just prefer not to take chances.
I don't really like giving dogs aspirin. It is not an allergic reaction really so I'm not sure benadryl would help.
