My husband and I are thrilled...but I am a little concerned about how the dog will be around the baby. I know Zoey is going to think she is the baby by the time the baby arives. Are they good around babies???
It's all about temperment. I would suggest that as your pup gets a bit bigger you have socials with friends or family member's children...always supervised of course. That way the pup can get to be comfy with them. Also when you do have your skin baby don't be afraid to let your yorkie be around them. I suggest while your in the hospital let hubby bring home a blanket with the babies scent and let Zoey (love the name by the way...just got my Zoey sat) sniff the blanket.

As with any animal small or large supervision is always a must with children.
