Have you tried to feed him earlier? give him like 5 hours before going to bed and make sure he poo's and pee's before you put him to bed. My schedule is typically:
Breakfast: 8AM (usually I feed more food in teh morning)
Lunch: 1PM
Dinner: 6PM (feed him less here)
I take away his water around 8PM
Goes to bed at 11PM
