Hi, thank you for your replies. This morning it has gone down a little and does'nt look quite as red, when the vet opens I will give them a call to see what they say. He did eat his food this morning and put his tail up so maybe feeling a little better. I have pain medicine which I will give him some more this morning, just in case. I had a male poodle a long time ago and when he got neutered no problem he was running around that same night, and I don't remember it looking like this, mind you he was a bit younger when he got neutered and I don't think his testis had actually formed yet, so maybe that is the difference, I don't know I guess every dog is different. But thank you again for your replies, makes you feel better to know if other people have had the same experiences.
