Has she been tested for a urinary tract infection. Cali did that peed on the bed and never had done that before. SHe had an infection with crystals. The meds cleared it up. I just took a urine sample in and they tested it and gave me the meds. Bloodwork will show if the kidney's are functioning properly and they can to specific tests for thyroid. I have a pom who was first diagnosed with hypothyroidism and she would eat like it was her last meal, drink a lot, pee more frequently and lost fur and weight. Hopefully the vet can quickly rule out things and determine what is going on. |
