K/D is 13.8% protein on a dry matter basis (it says it on their site). Dry matter means the amount of moisture has been mathematically removed (because water isn't a "nutrient" and canned food is full of it which is good...but it can't be counted as a nutrient). Therefore canned foods that say 8% are much higher in protein. This particular one is about 44% if my math is correct.
