My heart is breaking. Tiko was neutered today plus he had 7 baby teeth removed. I was supposed to keep the e-collar on for 10 days but 10 minutes after getting home we couldn't stand it. Tiko was crying, trying to get it off, my DH and I crying. We took it off. I'll be with him 24/7 so I can watch him. And his almost back to his old self. Just a little lethargic, but he is Starving and Thirsty. We got home at 4:30Pm, and were told to give him a tiny bit of nutracal and a mini biscuit at 5:30Pm. and one tiny bit of water at 10:00pm. He keeps crying and scratching at the kitchen gate wanting food, and going to his crate looking for his water bottle which isn't there. At 7:30 I caved in and gave him another tiny biscuit, a tiny bit of nutracal and I held a piece of ice for him to lick a little. But I'm so tempted to give him a little more. He's starving hasn't had anything since 9:30Pm last night. Would something really bad happen if we gave him a little more? Please give advise.
