Shireyek and Eroar2 Thank you so much for the information on the spaying. Ok, I will call the vet next week or so and schedule Schatzie in for an appt. This has been on my mind since even before her first surgery. So now with reading both of your posts I see that my worries do not need to continue, whew!!
Shireyek, it's funny how you mentioned "dew claw (s)". Schatzie has both of hers on her hind legs. They bug me there bigtime and I never questioned the breeder as to why they were not removed. I asked my breeder friend about them and she seems to think that Schatzie was just over looked when it came time for the dew clawing removal. (awwh, poor Schatzie, this dog just has bum luck, let me tell ya! I will ask the vet about removal of them when she is scheduled for her spaying.
