LOL...don't be hard on yourself...if you didn't know you didn't know. Now you know better and everytime you look at your little one you can do it knowing that now he FINALLY is somewhere that he will be loved!
Although, your original post said he wasn't coming home until Jan 11th, so unless you got him early or already paid for him, it is NOT "too late now."
