It might be allergies or have you given her new food? Sometimes just coming into a new home is stressful for a puppy. My little ones will every now and then do the gagging(almost sounds like something stuck in the throat, or maybe they want to throw up)then all of a sudden stop. I think if it lasts over a week take your puppy to a different vet. If she's eating and going to the bathroom just fine then it might just go away on it's own.
Another thought is if she flew to you, she might have been exposed to kennel cough on the plane(lots of dogs go through there). Good luck, I'm sure she'll be better in no time. |
