congrats on your new baby !
first i wanted to say i have never heard of leaving a dog there to get an exam nor would i leave my baby there ....sounds very weird to me that they would even need that much time unless you said to leave her there
second it sounds like your baby has kennel cough
she will need medication for that so back to a vet i wouldnt go to that one again
