Yes I thought it was quiet young to be taken from her mother too. She was a gift to my daughter for Christmas by her grandmother, so now she is kinda mine and I have fell in love with her. To make a long story short, my daughter is nine and she wanted a yorkie for Christmas and I said no, but her grandmother got one to keep at her house, which if its gonna be my daughters she would never see much cause they live almost two hours away. But she has done well to be so young. I am proud of her when she uses her pads. She can be a little meany too, any help with how to discipline her without spanking?

A pup can be weened at 4 weeks, it is many a valuable lesson that pup learns from his momma and litter mates that will be missed out on.
