Many of mine have been born at 2 oz., and they do live. He must be sucking, to still be alive at 8 days old. If you were to lose one, it is usually at 3 days old. Try to make sure that he isn't tossed out of the food line by the bigger siblings. When they are asleep, try to sneak the little one in for some milk from mom. Supplementing is good too, if he acts hungry. Some are just destined to be smaller. If he seems strong, and gaining weight, you'll probably be OK.
