I'm Canadian so I'm not 100% knowledgeable about U.S. government, but somebody should find out who the politician in charge of these laws is - then show him the media coverage about this. First, see if you can get him on board helping to change these laws. If he doesn't agree to work on changing the laws, take this story to the media for more coverage.
This requires a bit of work - but can lead to helping to make big changes in the government. |
Very good idea, I would certainly be willing to write a letter..email..or whatever it takes to start the ball rolling to get the laws changed regarding this type of thing. I also think that this Horton person should be held accountable for the vet care that these hundreds of dogs are incurring. Maybe they could bury him in bills so he wouldn't be able to continue his operation.
