Puppies live in a bacteria filled environment for 9 weeks before birth...that is why they are born with sealed eyes to prevent infections..the canine womb is no where near as sterile as the human womb...so latex glove are a moot point IMO....BUT I would always advise washing your hands in cold water after whelping...hot water won't get the green discharge off..it seems to make it worse... |
