You heard right - I did my website without spending one dime on traffic...What I did was spend about a week looking for every free site I could find that listed the catagories I needed to be in - MOST cities also have a site that you can join to be listed - phone books...DMOS...and just in general -
If I found a site - I listed us. I had a MASTER description and just copied and pasted to cut down on typing the same thing over and over.
It really worked - we get calls and my site comes up in searches - it was like #3 in MSN for a while & linking to OTHER companies does work -
