The other option is to stick with this vet and "Educate" him on bedside manner. Perhaps he doesn't realize that his communication skills are lousy. Is he a young whippersnapper or an old codger? (both terms said in a loving way).

If you do decide to start looking for another vet, I positively agree with Wylie's mom about sticking with this vet while you are interviewing vets. Don't bridges, you might need him before you find someone perfect to care for your babies.
