They can get in trouble with them for many reasons...not meeting their requirements, falsifying paperwork, etc. I think there is a link at the top of this section where you can check those who have been in trouble w/ them.

Probably so...with ANY registry, you can get good and bad breeders that are not honest regarding the paperwork and the dogs they are breeding.

ANY registry can do random house visits. I actually reported a miller once that was keeping about 50 dogs in a chicken house. She had AKC and CKC dogs. I reported her to both. A CKC inspector showed up and took action before the AKC one.
