My lily is smart I think , let me explain when we got her we were teaching her to potty outside because my vet said that was best. Well, then fall hit 1 months later and we had to go to potty matts as her only source do to her not being able to tolerate the cold she took fairly well to them, you know she had the normal confession due to the switch but did ok. Well know it has been 2 1/2 months and it is frustrating 90% of the time she goes on the potty matt but the other 10% she goes on the floor but the catcher is when she does go on the floor she knows she is not supposed to so she goes and sits on her matt till I find her mess and then she will leave her matt. Is this potty problem common. I have a hard time punishing her because she already knows its wrong so why does she do it then.
