Another idea:
If you have, can buy used or find a bookcase in the dimensions you want, (unfinished pine is cheap to buy new), you can add doors, use baskets instead of drawers and add a bar of pvc, or even wood closet rod which all is inexpensive.
Paint it up or even wallpaper it to suit you. It will be a one of a kind treasure.
I am a recycle/reuse it freak--it's like some kind of game/challenge to me. It's fashionable now, but a few years back when I was doing this, everyone thought I was nutters!
