I'll see if I have any that show the ceiling (you're talking about the smallpox ceiling right?); I think I purposely never got that into any photos b/c it was so embarrassing and it was like that for a couple of years

Not my finest achievement, but I wanted to save some money (and it was intended to be a guest suite, but I had 2 very messy and noisy cockatoos who occupied that room as their "aviary" basically), and I really didn't want to have to deal with moving them somewhere else while professionals were painting in the room, b/c the birds would be screaming (or possibly biting them
), so I read all the articles I could find on how to paint the ceiling like a sky with clouds and they all said to start the clouds with an outline of a purple-y or dark color (well, somehow against the blue, my paint turned out to be sort of a pinky-lavender), so when my dh (let's blame him, LOL) did the outline of the clouds, which looked kind of like pink amoebas, I said "that's not the right color; we need to start over".....and that's sort of how it just stayed for the next couple of years
. Oh well...it's fixed now, but there's still no clouds up there.
