They do outgrow it when there older, right now my 5mth and 10mth olds are chewing on anything in there reach, just ask hubby, he had his hat chewed up this am, lol his fault for leaving it in there reach
my older ones dont chew on anything except chew toys or treat bones. have you tryed bully sticks, they are really good for chewing, but please supervise when they have them
