Oh good heaven's!!! Our painters were in our house for almost 8 hours a day 5 days a week for 4 months
. And there were 3 of them. I'm starting to think we got off cheap, LOL.
The rooms are big, the ceilings 12-15 ft (and they did special effects on almost all the ceilings and faux painted everything else), so yes, it was expensive, but what they did was pretty spectacular. We were very pleased with most of it (except for the powder room which turned out not quite what we wanted, but by that time, I just wanted my house BACK without having 3 guys in there all day long. There's no way we could have painted it ourselves, nor would I have wanted to (see the smallpox comment earlier; it's not a joke
).
