This is how I gave Maggie her Nutrical. I kept it in the fridg, so it wouldn't run off my finger. She wouldn't lick it off my finger either, so I would put about 3/4 inch on my finger, and using my other hand I would open her mouth (using my thumb and middle finger where the mouth hinges) and rake the Nutrical behind her top teeth. Did that twice a day until she started eating very well. It was told to me that if they go 8 hours without eating, then to give them a dose of Nutrical. By the time she was 4 months old, she no longer had to eat any Nutrical. I do keep it on hand, just in case.
