Harley used to pee everytime someone walked in the door and she didn't seem to outgrow it as she got older. We had to start making sure that when people were coming over they knew to say hi and then ignore her until she settled down(extremely hard b/c at first she thought no one was happy to see her). It worked though and now when we come home we can be really happy to see her and she doesn't pee anymore. I think alot of it has to do with the fact their bladder control is still developing....getting mad or disciplining NEVER worked for us!!! |
