I think alot of that comes from them being portrayed as accessories by the ever fashionable Miss Hilton and Miss Spears.
I have to say though that anytime I see something that in my head doesn't seem practical, it makes no sense
to me and makes me shake my head in wonder sometimes. Carrying your dog with you everywhere to me fits into this category...along with things like wearing heels to theme parks, or Sunday dresses to football games....
