No 'battle of the sexes' intended!

I have three boy furkids and one girl, and sometimes I think it's fun to discuss the differences.
I must admit, my personal preference is a neutered boy. That all started about 17 years ago when I adopted "Humphrey". He was a 4 year old mini-poo that was found by our city ACO. Nobody claimed him, so I had the wonderful chance to be his new Mommy! I immediately had him neutered. A more loyal boy there never was. I could walk through a huge crowd of people with him off leash and he'd never, ever leave my side. I also had a spayed female Lab at the same time. An absolute doll. Brilliant dog..but if she didn't want to do something, I don't care if you were Cesar Milan himself, she wouldn't budge.
My two (n) boy Chis are totally smitten with me. They gaze into my eyes like long lost lovers..LOL. Widdles, although more independent, I could also tie in knots..he's so willing. I get up, the herd moves. I sit, the herd sits.
Now Indigo, my spayed girlie...she's the slightly twisted sister. Don't get me wrong, she'd NEVER bite...well...anything other than a pant-leg on occasion. But she's mooooody. She eyeballs the boys out of the corner of her eye if she's sleepy...DO NOT DISTURB..they get closer, and I can see her nose-hairs quiver as her lip sloooowly lifts. The whole time she's watching me to see if I'm going to catch her. If you push her during the night, and you're NOT me, you catch a tongue lashing. If she's emotional..she glares at you and won't move off her spot on the sofa, even when I need to vaccuum it.
She's very, very smart however. And when she wants lovin' she is extremely endearing...
Just very, very different and lovable in their own ways!
What is your furfam like?
