I asked if anything was wrong and he said he thought maybe she had worms...I asked why he would think that?? He said she is sooooo skinny??? My 10 year old daughter shot me a look of shock as I did to her...

Soleil is a BIG eater..she is also a very nice weight in my opinion. She is 8 months old and smaller than her big brother Reece who is 6 pounds 4 oz. Soleil is 4 pounds 6 ozs which I think is pretty normal for her breed and height?? She is NOT skinny..you CANNOT feel her ribs at all. Maybe its the shaved down haircut???

Anyhow he gave me two worm pills which I paid for even though I thought it was quite odd...not im my wildest dreams did I think she was the least bit underweight. She is eating Performatrin dog food and its a GREAT food. She eats three small meals a day and we provide treats at night.

I just dont get it.. I kinda felt like a bad mommy...

Here is a pic of her and Reece..Soleil is in the front...does she look "skinny" to you??

My granddaughter's Yorkie is skinny, but the vet says she is healthy, just lively. By the way, she's a year old today! Happy Birthday Samantha Love! I hope she will fill out some soon. She is very active and maybe will gain weight when she slows down a little. Why would a vet prescribe worm pills without checking the dog's stool? I wouldn't give my dog worm pills without knowing the dog had worms.
