I give my own shots to my puppies and adults. I only do the adults every 3 years and the puppies get a series of 3 shots and a yearly booster. Its very easy to do and the puppies arent exposed to all the sick germs present at the vet office. Plus, its much less expensive and stressful than going to the vet. I use Vanguard 5 without Lepto. The only shots I do get from the vet is rabies. Disposal of the syringes is easy also. Just put them in an empty milk carton and seal it shut. I have to give myself a shot every night so I have lots of syringes to throw away.LOL |
