I have to be extremely careful with what and how many treats I give my girls. If I keep them to a very, very strict diet with just a few treats now and then I have no problems whatsoever. It's my HUSBAND I have to worry about. He is forever handing them little pieces of his own food. It drives me crazy and I've read him the riot act a million times, but he still "Feels Sorry For Them" and I'll see him giving them a tidbit of scrapple or something that even HE shouldn't be eating. It makes me feel like I'm shoveling you know what against the tide.
