Thank You ... Thank You ... Thank You ...

I have written a few personal letters to the owners of the various dogs on www.petfinder.com and this sweet little girl, Holly, advertised here:

Here is the letter I wrote in regards to Holly ...

Hi Gail,

I am writing because I may be able to offer a loving home to Holly.

Self employed, I work from the comfort of home so as to be a hands-on mother to my six-year-old daughter, Hannah, and also full-time mommy to our four-year-old Yorkie/Chi, Tika. You can see a video of the two together on You Tube by clicking here:
I own a house with a fenced in backyard and can provide references if you wish. I have also attached some photographs of my very spoiled Yorkie mix, Tika.

I am passionately in love with the Yorkshire Terrier breed and have experience in rescuing two Yorkshire Terriers (who were both seized from extremely abusive and neglectful situations). One of the Yorkies died from the extreme abuse and neglect she went through in her previous home. The other Yorkie/Chi, Tika, is a four-year-old sweetheart and a beloved member of our family. I would like to adopt another Yorkie as a companion for Tika and as another dog to spoil.

I am in a unique situation in that I can receive unlimited veterinary care, medicine and dog supplies/food because my business belongs to a barter exchange where businesses trade services with each other (without spending cash). So as an example, I build websites for $5,000 each in barter currency - which gives me $5,000 in barter credit to spend with other business that belong to the exchange each month. There is a veterinarian and pet store that are members of my the barter exchange, allowing me to obtain the best veterinary care and supplies available.

With this in mind, I will be honest in saying that my home-based business provides financially for my family and leaves very little extra. Although we don't have a lot of extra money at the end of each month, I always have plenty of work lined up from my barter exchange. If you are willing to consider adopting Holly into a very loving home without an adoption fee, I can provide regular updates and photographs letting you know how she is doing.

If you are interested, we could discuss transportation options since I am in Winnipeg, Canada - a three hour drive North of North Dakota. My current Yorkie mix, Tika, was adopted from the Pennington County Humane Society in Thief River Falls, Minnesota so I am knowledgeable about bringing a dog from the U.S. to Canada. A current rabies vaccination is required as well as administrative fee of $30, which I could cover.

I look forward to your response.

Warm Regards,

Jamie Saari
